Background                Carcinoembryonic Antigen-Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 7 (CEACAM7), also known as CGM2, is a member of the CEA family of immunoglobulin superfamily. CEACAM7 contains an an Ig - like V (immunoglobulin - like) domain and Ig - like C2 (immunoglobulin - like) domain.  Alternative splicing produces a short isoform which lacks the second Ig - like domain. CEACAM7 is preferentially expressed on the luminal surface of epithelial cells near the colostomy and on pancreatic duct epithelial cells. It is strongly down-regulated during the progression of colorectal adenoma, but can be upregulated during the development of gastric cancer.

Storage                        Store at 2-8℃ short term (1-2 weeks).Store at ≤ -20℃ long term. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw.
