Cell-Based Assay (CBA) is increasingly being adopted due to its superior ability to reflect the complexity of biological systems. This complexity allows for more accurate simulation of cellular behavior, providing greater physiological relevance to in vitro assays. In life science research, CBAs are used to uncover mechanisms of action under both physiological and pathological conditions. In drug discovery, CBAs are well-suited for miniaturized analyses and can be applied at all stages of drug development, making them increasingly common in high-throughput screening (HTS).
