GIPR (Glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor) is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) primarily activated by GIP (Glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide). GIPR is widely expressed in pancreatic β-cells, adipose tissue, skeletal muscle, bone tissue, and the central nervous system, and it is believed to play a key role in metabolic regulation, insulin secretion, lipid metabolism, and body weight control.
Genomeditech offers a range of resources related to the GIPR target, including functional cell lines, expression cell lines, proteins, and antibodies. These tools support the activity validation and in vitro efficacy evaluation of GIPR-related drugs.
