BTN3:Vγ9Vδ2
Background

BTN3A (Butyrophilin Subfamily 3 Member A) belongs to the Butyrophilin (BTN) family of immune regulatory molecules, which are close relatives of B7 proteins and are classified as immune regulatory surface molecules. Within the BTN3 family, BTN3A1, BTN3A2, and BTN3A3 are the main subtypes, widely distributed and expressed on the surface of both immune and non-immune cells. Vγ9Vδ2 T cells are a type of γδ T cell defined by the expression of Vγ9 and Vδ2 TCRs (T cell receptors). The interaction between BTN3A and Vγ9Vδ2 T cells represents a unique antigen recognition mechanism of the immune system, extensively involved in studies of anti-tumor immunity and anti-infection responses. The cooperation between BTN3A and Vγ9Vδ2 T cells is a key pathway for anti-tumor and anti-infection immunity, and targeting this pathway may lead to new explorations in anti-tumor and anti-infection immunotherapy.

Genomeditech provides functional cell lines, expression cell lines, proteins, antibodies, and other resources related to BTN3A and Vγ9Vδ2 targets, which can support the activity validation and in vitro effect evaluation of BTN3 and Vγ9Vδ2 related drugs.
