SIGLEC-8 (Sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin 8) is a Siglec receptor that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is primarily expressed on eosinophils, mast cells, and certain monocyte subsets, playing a critical role in regulating allergic inflammation, immune tolerance, and cell apoptosis.
