Description Ly6G (the Ly6G gene) is a mouse leukocyte surface antigen primarily used to mark neutrophils. Research on this gene and its expression in mouse models is significant for understanding immune responses, inflammation, and tumor microenvironments. Gr-1 (also known as Gr1) is another surface marker often associated with neutrophils. The Gr-1 antibody may recognize both Ly6G and Ly6C; however, Ly6G is more specific.
