Background | Il-4ra (Interleukin-4 Receptor Alpha) is an important member of the Interleukin-4 Cytokine Receptor family. IL-4RA binds to the γc chain (common γ chain) to form a high-affinity receptor for IL-4, mediating IL-4 signaling; binds to IL-13R α1 to form a functional receptor for IL-13, mediating IL-13 signaling. By binding to IL-4 or Il-13, IL-4RA activates the JAK-STAT6 pathway (Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription 6) , regulates downstream gene expression, and regulates the expression of downstream genes, participate in B cell proliferation and differentiation (such as IgE class switching) , Th2 type immune response -LRB-helTer T cell type 2 response) , epithelial cell activation and other processes. IL-4RA receptor plays an important role in regulating humoral immunity (such as antibody production) and cellular immunity (such as T cell activation) , and is closely related to allergic reactions, asthma, and some autoimmune diseases. |
