Description

Species Reactivity      Mouse, human, Cynomolgus

Clone                          3B2g2m1

Source/Isotype          Monoclonal mIgG2a, κ

Application                Bioactivity-ELISA

Specificity                  Detects MUSK

Gene                           MUSK

Other Names             CMS9, FADS, FADS1

Gene ID                      18198 (Mouse); 4593 (human); 102127677 (Cynomolgus);

Background               This gene encodes a member of the protein tyrosine kinase family. The encoded protein is a type 1 receptor-like protein located in muscle membrane that is activated by the heparan sulfate proteoglycan agrin released by nerve cells. The encoded protein activates signaling cascades responsible for multiple aspects of motor neuron and muscle development, including organization of the postsynaptic membrane, synaptic gene transcription, patterning of skeletal muscle, anchoring of acetylcholinesterase, and guidance of motor axons.

Storage                       Store at 2-8℃ short term (1-2 weeks).Store at ≤ -20℃ long term. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw.

Formulation               Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2.

Endotoxin                   < 1 EU/mg, determined by LAL gel clotting assay
