Description | IL-23A encodes the p19 subunit of Interleukin-23, a cytokine that plays an important role in the immune response and is secreted by dendritic cells, macrophages and other Antigen-presenting cell. Guselkumab is a monoclonal antibody drug that targets a specific part of the human immune system and is used to treat autoimmune diseases, particularly psoriasis and other related skin conditions caused by moderate to severe burns. By blocking the function of Il-23(Interleukin-23) , the drug regulates the immune response, reducing inflammation and skin cell proliferation. |
