Description

Cluster of Differentiation 40 (CD40), is a co-stimulatory factor and protein receptor distributed on antigen-presenting cells (APC). Upon binding with CD154 (CD40L) on helper T cells, CD40 activates antigen-presenting cells, leading to a series of downstream reactions. Interaction of CD40 with Act1 and TRAF6 activates downstream reporter gene signaling.

Genomeditech H_CD40 (TNFRSF5) Reporter 293 Cell Line is a reporter gene cell line. Activation of downstream reporter genes occurs when CD40 binds with Act1 and TRAF6, resulting in the expression of Luciferase. Luciferase readings reflect the activation effect of the signaling pathway, making it suitable for the in vitro evaluation of CD40-related drugs.
