Description

C-Kit (also known as CD117) is an important cell membrane receptor belonging to the tyrosine kinase receptor family. It mainly binds to its ligand stem cell factor (SCF), causing receptor dimerization and activation of tyrosine kinase activity, leading to receptor autophosphorylation and activation of downstream signaling pathways. After c-Kit activation, it can activate multiple signaling pathways, including PI3K/Akt, Ras/MAPK, etc. These pathways are involved in biological processes such as cell proliferation, survival, and migration.

The H_c-Kit (CD117) GNNK (-) 293 Blockade Reporter Cell Line of Jiman Biology is a reporter gene cell line. When SCF binds to c-Kit, it activates the downstream signaling pathway of chimerism, thereby activating the expression of luciferase. Blocking antibodies can block the transmission of this signal. The Luciferase reading represents the activation effect of the signaling pathway, and therefore can be used for in vitro efficacy evaluation of c-Kit related drugs.
