Background

FGFR2(Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 2) is a member of the FGFR family in the 10q26 region of the human genome. It is homologous to FGFR134 and functions as a Receptor tyrosine kinase. Its structure includes an extracellular Ig-like variant domain (common IIIB/IIIC splice variants), a transmembrane region, and an intracellular kinase domain responsible for receptor autophosphorylation and signaling. The core function of FGFR2 is to regulate cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, survival, tissue development and homeostasis maintenance, mainly through MAPK/ERK, PI3K/AKT, PLC γ and other pathways. It plays a key role in multiple phylogenies such as neural development, bone formation, skin and vascular development. Antibodies to FGFR2 have diverse applications in research and therapy, both for detection and localization in basic research and for targeted intervention in clinical therapy.

Formulation

Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2-7.4.

Endotoxin

< 1 EU/mg, determined by LAL gel clotting assay
